Starry sky at the break of dawn over two giant telescopes on Mauna Kea peak (4200 m high, ~ 14,000 ft), the highest point of Hawaii. The Gemini North (foreground) is an 8-meter telescope and its southern twin is located in Chile. The CFHT (Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope) is on the background. On the upper right the elongated halo of Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is visible next to the faint band of the Milky Way.
